Board Meetings are open to the public

Board Meetings are open to the public!

Library operations are discussed monthly in a public meeting, run by the Board of Trustees.

We invite you to join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month to hear monthly reports from each of the Trustees and the Library supervisor,  to learn what goes on behind the scenes to keep the library running smoothly.

You might be surprised to learn there are always opportunities for community members to lend a hand.

We welcome your involvement !

We are a board-run non-profit organization. Elections are held annually in March, and officers begin their terms, or are re-instated in their roles each April. Becoming a Library Trustee is a great way to give back to your community. Our monthly meetings are open to the public. Join us !

your local library

We are an association library, and an affiliate branch of the Hunterdon County Library system. This allows us to maintain local control over decision-making, while exponentially expanding the access Holland Twp residents have to library materials and services. We are also a part of the  MAIN Library Alliance which gives us access to 50+ libraries in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset and Warren Counties.
66 % of our operating costs are funded by Holland Township's municipal government
15 % of costs are met through fundraising efforts by our Board of Trustees
19 % of our budget is covered by our Annual Fund Drive

Thank you for supporting
the little library with a big heart.
